Coliseum Same Day Surgery Center charges a facility fee for each surgical procedure. In addition, your patient will receive a separate bill from other professionals whose services are utilized including an Anesthesiologist, Radiologist and Pathologist.

At Coliseum Same Day Surgery Center, we are proud to offer high quality, patient oriented care that is also cost effective. You will find that our fees compare very favorably with those of area hospitals.

Billing & Insurance

Charges for facility services, including supplies, are billed separately from professional fees. After you return home, you will receive separate bills from the Surgery Center, surgeon, radiologist, anesthesiologist, and pathologist (if applicable). You may also be billed by Coliseum Medical Centers if you require lab, EKG, pathology or x-ray studies.

We accept cash, checks, MasterCard, VISA, Discover, or American Express. We participate with many insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid. The patient portion of the bill is expected to be paid on or before the day of surgery.

Also, if needed, we'll work with you to create a payment plan.

Satisfying the conditions of your insurance policy is the responsibility of the patient. When inquiring about coverage, ask your insurance company if they cover "freestanding ambulatory" facilities. Also, be sure to ask if they require any specific documents, such as a second surgical opinion or a letter of certification.
